As a wellness educator and movement practitioner who has vaginally delivered a baby, this is a topic near and dear to my heart! There is nothing quite as humbling as being a fit, active mom who has to think about what color she is wearing for her next workout, and whether or not she should take a class based on what might happen down there. NEWS FLASH – while this might be your current “normal”, this is NOT A LIFE SENTENCE! This is a fixable problem for many women, and for many of us, it’s rather simple. AND – insurance might cover it! Generations of women before us have continued on their merry way towards a life with Depends, without talking about this issue, not realizing they, too, could get help. It’s not as simple as doing more kegels – it’s best to be evaluated by a trained professional before figuring out the customized solution for you.
