Motherhood is a love that transforms.
Our Mission
The Mama Sagas is on a mission to change the narrative of motherhood from one of sacrifice to one of opportunity.
When you enter motherhood, you enter a band of heroes. Most of us don’t feel like Supermom – this gig tests the depth of our strength and resilience daily.
But if we meet the challenge, we realize motherhood is an opportunity: the chance to illuminate our true path, to realize our potential, to advocate for what we need, and to define our identity on our own terms.
Through first-person stories of triumph and transformation, and with tips for living a rich and fulfilling life with kids, The Mama Sagas celebrates what’s possible when we embrace every experience on our motherhood journey — good, bad, and everything in between.

Doing the Thing.
It's been one year since we filmed the first video interviews that would become The Mama Sagas. One year. When I think about that fact, I am at once shocked that a year has gone by so fast, and amazed at the ways my life has changed since then. In that year, I grew a...

Breastfeeding: How do I know if my baby has a tongue or lip tie?
After 4 weeks of excruciating pain, bleeding and bruised nipples, downing Advil like it was my job, and more tears than I could count, I was ready to give up on breastfeeding. When my daughter was born, I was told she had a tongue tie, but...
These are the Hands.
These are the hands.... These are the hands that are home with a sick toddler. We have played with temporary tattoos, she has painted my nails. I have nervously bitten my cuticles to destruction as we waited in the urgent care with a fever of 104 and a kiddo on...
